I went through a tough time last year and the only thing that seemed to comfort me was music. McFly is one of those bands who were there to make me feel a bit alive, and The Last Song is probably the most beautiful song ever written. I always get emotional when I hear “Every single word and every note I’m pleading” so I decided that it would look perfect in my back. The reason why I changed the word plead to bleed is because I consider that music runs through my veins and also because I have never done self-harm despite the bad moments I’ve been through. The only thing I’ve “bled” is music. This tattoo really means a lot to me and I know I will never regret it.

I got this done 2 weeks ago, it’s very similar to Tom’s.

The reason why I got the star is because on nearly every McFLY album there has been a star incorporated into the band name and the band members (excluding Harry I think) have a star tattooed somewhere on their bodies.

I feel like McFLY have gotten me through some pretty rough times in my life. So, I felt that this was the best way to have them, all the lessons they’ve taught with me forever guiding in the right direction.

Thanks McFLY for always being there, not only for me, but for every single Galaxy Defender, McFlyer and McFan out there.

I’m 20, and when I was 11 I met this band. I remember in school people used to say “Mims and their McFly” because it was literally like that. They became my best friends, my parents, my brothers, my support, almost like a part of my body. I kind of grew up and matured a lot with them, even though they’re totally silly.

It’s something that comes from the heart, and like they say “the heart never lies”

Whenever things were not the way I wanted Danny sang “but I’m not alooooooooooooooooooooone” in my ears while Tom, Dougie and Harry completed that melody that remembered paradise, even though I’ve never seen the real paradise, McFly always been my piece of paradise on Earth. I had many opportunities to meet them, even spent a night at the bar drinking with my favorite (which is Danny), so I felt blessed.

The first show and hotel I went I swear I didn’t knew that my love for them could increase more. And increases every day and man, is boundless.

I remember when I hugged them for the first time was a great fucking feeling! They did a improved m&g to whoever was on the door of Hilton (here in Brazil) And as there were a few fans there, we had a super good time with them. Dougie was playing with my hair, I pressed Tom’s dimple and he squeezed mine. I remember feeling a lifetime passing the time while I hugged Danny and I was repeating “I love you”. And then I was talking to Harry about drums.

At last year’s show I was shaken, Dougie had been to rehab, and I still had my personal problems. And like, the show McFly gave kinda saved me. I don’t know, their show is like a cure for all the problems and bad feelings. There is simply no way of feeling sad at their show.

And last year Tom getting my kiss in the air and putting in his heart, Harry laughing at my face, Dougie completely idiot talking to me “thanks for being this amazing fan all these years” and well, nothing better than the warm and comfortable Danny’s hug to complete.

So I decided to honor them, literally make them part of my body like they were part of my heart. I tattooed on my arm a small drawing symbolizing their embrace, and I would give them my arm if they needed it some day.

I’m proud to say that McFly is the band of my life.

An epic tattoo on Trish from Belgium, why epic? Because Harry and Tom designed it themselves! Here’s the story..

I love this song so much because it’s about love, friendship, and about the band itself and I know them since they started, when I just got into high school, I got through my teenage years with their music. Just listen to the song and you’ll understand :) If that meaning wasn’t enough…well then, McFly designed this tattoo for me. It was beyond my dreams. That time they were recording in Belgium (in 2010) was one of the best moments in my life, a dream coming true. I just asked “hey, can you each write a word?” and then they designed it. I cried my eyes out of happiness. So this stands for: McFly the band, love, friendship, dreams coming true, act crazy (you got a no, you can get a yes)…

Why did I choose this lyrics to get tattooed?

Well… This song showed me that music can be present at any point in your life, and there will be people who will always be there for you. You are important. And no matter how many people are injured, crying or anything, there will always be someone who will be true to you. Tattooed “Cause the heart never lies” by McFly because my feelings are totally sincere, after all “the heart NEVER lies.” McFly is a true inspiration, the real reason to continue, never give up my dreams and I’m proud to say that I am a Defender of the Galaxy. Danny, Tom, Dougie and Harry, thank you for making my life worthwile and my days so much easier.

Two meaningful songs on Virginia, from Spain :)

Why did I choose this two lyrics to get tattooed?
Simple, life isn’t the easiest you want it to be, everyday you got problems, you feel sick, depressed or whatever, and you have to go on and keep living, because if you don’t, you’ll really lose the best things of this wonderful life.
Yes, it’s hard, but everyone has to carry their problems and live with them.
This tattoos remind me that I’ve got to wake up every morning and fight for everything I want, no matter what happens, I have to keep living, smile everyday and carry on.
McFly, what can I say about them? They are the most incredible people for me, they helped me so many times with their music, videos, photos, and concerts. I just love them and I know that I’ll carry them with me for the rest of my life.
Danny, Tom, Dougie and Harry, thank you for making my life worthwile and my days so much easier.

I got this tattoo because life is full of falls and obstacles, and you gotta be strong and move on no matter what; the swallows also represent freedom. McFly was the responsible, with their music, of getting me through adversities, of changing me and make me realize who I really am. I thought getting one of their lyrics would be the best way for me to remember to carry on and that, whatever happens, their music will be there supporting not just me, but all their other thousands of fans.

I’m currently studying in England. I’ve been a McFly fan for 10 years, and I can finally show this! I had “wonderland” written in my best friend’s handwriting tattooed on me for a few reasons. Obvious one, it’s my best friend’s handwriting. Also because that album saved my life, especially “Don’t Know Why.” I owe a lot to McFly, and I hope they see this one day. I’m going to my first McFly concert ever in May, and I can’t wait!

I am so proud to say that this is my first tattoo and I absolutely couldn’t be happier! I have been listening to McFly for a little over six years now and they are without a doubt my all-time favorite band. Before McFly I never knew what it meant to love a band with all of your heart and soul, but now I do. A lot of people are judging me and saying that I may not like them in five years but they are all wrong. McFly is already such a permanent part of my life and now it’s official. Choosing this tattoo wasn’t easy though, I went through every one of my favorite songs trying to find the perfect lyrics, but they are all so perfect that I couldn’t decide. So, instead I went with their logo from my favorite album, Radio: ACTIVE. My tattoo couldn’t be more perfect to me.

-Lexus: It was 2009 when I started listening to McFly & fell in love with them, of course I had to show my bestfriend! And naturally, he fell in love too. Seriously, all we would do during class was blast McFly and usually it was “I’ve Got You.” It got to the point where out of nowhere, he would just text me, “I’ve got you” and I’d finish it with “to make me feel stronger.” It’s been 7 years since we’ve been friends and he’s a brother to me now. That song has definitely defined our relationship. I just gotta thank McFly for writing such a powerful song with lyrics that can reach out to so many different people. I’m proud to say a McFly song defines the most important relationship in my life, which is with my brother :)

I had this tattoo done as I feel McFly have saved my life. When I found out I had cancer, I was listening to McFly. When I had my treatment, it was always McFly I was listening to. This tattoo makes me feel closer to them.
